Biography

Rong Xiangke, who works at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, was born in May 1982. He holds a Master’s degree in Plastic Surgery and is an Associate Chief Physician. He has published 8 academic papers as first author and corresponding author, including 1 SCI-indexed paper. He has received two Third Prizes of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has participated in 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project and 1 major military research project. As a main participant, he applied for and completed 1 hospital-level research project. As a main participant, he has conducted two clinical trials.

He serves as a Committee Member of the Fat Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, a Youth Committee Member of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a Standing Director of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Society of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, and a Member of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine.

He specializes in burn and trauma care, repair of acute and chronic wounds, resection and reconstruction of superficial tumors, scar revision, liposuction, fat grafting, body contouring, reduction mammoplasty, breast augmentation, oculoplastic surgery, and other procedures. He also has extensive expertise in thumb (finger) reconstruction, replantation of severed limbs (fingers), congenital hand deformities such as syndactyly and polydactyly, and peripheral nerve injury.
